Be my Valentine - Emo Valentine Card
Be My Valentine I don’t particularly enjoy the dark sadness of emo styled things. That goes for music, clothes, myspace-y glitter graphics, and really anything associated with the way of life. Being in tune with your feelings doesn’t mean it has to be dark and twisted. This card I unfortunatelty have to say is one of the best I’ve found. I’m a real sucker for hand-drawn artwork that looks like a kid made it. This card is just that in that you can clearly see it was drawn with markers and then scanned in to the computer to be put on this very card. There’s something to be said about very clean and to the point artwork like this. I would never get it myself, but if there were a few edits like removing the cloud and replacing the face with just a sad, non-emo person, I might have considered it. It would have still been cute and the lady friend recieving it wouldn’t be depressed by it. Regardless, there seems to be a big market for emo cards. I don’t know if they’re selling, but there sure are a ton of them being designed as you can see over on the emo valentine cards page where I found this creation.
