Vintage Turkey Greeting Card
Vintage Design Thanksgiving Greetings With thanksgiving recently passed I think this is a great card to look back on the holiday with. This card has a couple things going for it that I find interesting. First of all, you’ll immediately recognize that it’s an antique card that’s been scanned in to a computer and repurposed for many more years of use. I’m sure the designer of the card had no idea that his or her designs would live on to see many more generations of use. An interesting fact I learned actually a couple weeks ago about the turkey is that the bird we eat now doesn’t look anything like the bird shown here. The new breeds are all white. They’re also bred to be much larger than what this brownish bird was able to become. I found this classic over on the main greeting cards page.
